What is Winter Recruiting?

The Aggie Recruitment Committee, which divides its members into five regions, does recruiting for Texas A&M University across the state of Texas and in bordering states during Winter Break.  We provide information concerning many aspects of Texas A&M University including admissions, residence life, financial aid, honors/scholarships, and the Corps of Cadets.  For the convenience of each school, our members are prepared to give large group presentations or table-top presentations in lunch rooms.  Our members are trained in weekly meetings throughout the fall semester so that we can adequately supply information to prospective students who have an interest in Texas A&M University or college in general.  Various brochures and hand-outs are provided to our members to give out during their high school visits, as well as information about our Whoopin' Weekend Conference held each spring semester.  Our members are required to recruit at three high schools in their hometown area.  If you have any questions regarding Winter Recruiting or would like to request a visit to a specific school, please feel free to email the Recruiting Director at recruiting@arc.tamu.edu.
